Dear Mr. Levy,

Thank you for taking my message to the DPW meeting on December 10, 2002.

I am very much in favor of dredging the Grand Canal.  I don't see how we can continue to ignore our fragile environment in Oakdale.  This is not a project to benefit only boaters!  An increase in the volume of water in the canal will benefit the marine life and other wildlife that feed on it.

I am all for dredging of the Grand Canal.  If the project is approved, the project should be monitored closely to make sure residents get what they are promised.
